Artsy Wedding at Ebell Long Beach | Katie + Danny
The eclectic, plant-filled wedding venue that is Ebell of Long Beach, was the perfect location for Katie and Danny’s artsy yet elegant wedding celebration. With the day centered around their love and community- the emotions were high and the hugs were plentiful. The vivid colored decor balanced well with the neutral tones already present at Ebell of Long Beach, allowing for the personalities of the couple to shine through. During the ceremony, there was not a dry eye in the house, as Katie and Danny both spoke of inclusivity, deep devotion and acceptance towards one another, and freeing feeling to be 100% themselves within the container of the relationship. It was a truly beautiful thing to witness.
The whole wedding felt like a synchronistic dance where nothing was ever hurried and the vendors worked together seamlessly. This was owed heavily to the unwaveringly positive and amazing wedding planner, Katie Hall-Goodman of Best Day Ever LA Events.
Side note: Katie, the bride, is also an artist and photographer, she gave me full trust + creative control, allowing me to take risks like: using multiple cameras throughout the day and focusing on the use of 35mm film.
